On 22nd April, 2020 Shri Yogesh Sagar, President and Shri Anurag Aggarwal, Former President presented contributory cheques of Rs.15 lakh towards CM COVID RELIEF FUND to Shri Balbir Singh Sidhu, Hon’ble Minister for Labour, Health & Family Welfare, Punjab. President Shri Yogesh Sagar thanks all the members of the Association for their generous contribution towards providing relief to COVID-19 infected persons through the office of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh
Mohali Industries Association (MIA) has started a free COVID Care centre at RaenBasera which is free of cost.
Shri Yogesh Sagar, President MIA said ”In the fight against COVID-19, Mohali Industries Association has taken another initiative to start free of cost COVID Care Centre at RaenBasera, Opposite Dara Studio, Phase VI, Mohali in association with Mehr Foundation,”.
The centre was formally inaugurated today by S.Balbir Singh Sidhu, Minister for Labour, Health & Family Welfare, Punjab. S.Amarjit Singh Sidhu, Mayor Mohali also graced the occasion.
On 7th October, 2020 Mohali Industries Association donated one AIRVO2 Nasal High Flow Therapy Machine for COVID patients which will enable the patients to breathe easily. Ms. Aashika Jain, IAS, ADC, SAS Nagar received the donation.
MIA Member Shri Lalit Kumar Bansal, Director, M/s SaraswatiAgro Chemicals Ltd., Village Daomajra, Kharar donated Rupees Ten lakh and an Oxygen Concentrator Machine to the District Administration SAS Nagar. We feel proud to have philanthropists as part of the MIA fraternity.

VACCINATION DRIVE AT MIA

Mohali Industries Association started Vaccination drive for MIA members and their families, their workers/employees and families. This drive started on 8th of April, 2021 and is continuing. This has been possible with the help of District Administration along with active support of SDM Mohali Mr.Jagdeep Sehgal and the CMO, doctors and vaccinators of Phase VI General Hospital Mohali. Till date we have vaccinated more than 20,000 persons.
The Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar Shri Girish Dayalan, IAS, Ms.Aashika Jain, IAS, ADC Mohali and Shri Jagdeep Singh, SDM Mohali visited MIA Bhawan on 3rd May, 2021 to review the arrangements and vaccination progress at the Vaccination camp being held at MIA Bhawan. They interacted with Shri Rajeev Gupta, General Secretary MIA.
Shri Yogesh Sagar, President felicitated the Vaccinators and appreciated their efforts as Frontline workers during this pandemic.
Mayor S.A.S. Nagar, S.Amarjit Singh Sidhu visited one of the Vaccination camps on 13th May, 2021 at MIA along with Deputy Mayor S.Kuljit Singh Bedi and appreciated the efforts being made by the Industry to vaccinate their employees/ workers and ensure their safety.
The Vaccination drive is still continuing at MIA Bhawan for the benefit of members, employees, workers and general public.
Till date we have been able to vaccinate 60,000 + persons.
